A big hearted thanks to Charles McDiarmid and team at the Wickanninish Inn in Tofino for a recent weekend of wonder -- from interpretive nature walks and one-on-one yoga sessions to expert Swedish massage and most memorable meals! The fresh air, thunderous waves and marvellous accommodations made for a best-ever weekend getaway. New Zealand's jazzy song bird Hollie Smith soared in Vancouver at the Air New Zealand inaugural flight celebration dinner at the Fairmont Waterfront hotel. She and her band was the perfect fit for the stunning evening of Chef Shannon's NZ inspired creations. The BC Childrens choir performed and the packed house loved it all. She just signed with Blue Note and will make her official North America debut in 2008.
